The Department of Chemical Engineering was sanctioned seed money grant on “Control of portable waste water treatment process” with a cost of Rs.2,00,000/- during 2023-2024 for a period of 2 years under the supervision of Mr. M. Koteswara Rao, Asst. Professor, Chemical Engineering.

UBA Project

The Department of Chemical Engineering was sanctioned an Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) Project entitled “Implementing Untreated Water to Potable Water via Ceramic Membranes Cost Effectively” with a cost of Rs.50,000/- during 2023-2024 for a period of 6 months under the supervision of Dr. K. China Malakondaiah, Principal investigator and teamwork of my colleagues.

The Department of Chemical Engineering was sanctioned seed money grant on “Preparation of Nano Particles by Green Synthesis Method and applicability of NP's in water purification and industrial dye degradation procedures"” with a cost of Rs.1,65,000/- during 2022-2023 for a period of 2 years under the supervision of Mr. B. Pradeep Santosh KUmar, Asst. Professor, Chemical Engineering.

IIChE Student Chapter

The department of Chemical Engineering, ANITS is recognized as local student chapter of Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers with effective from 2019-20

UGC Major Research Project

The department of Chemical Engineering was sanctioned a UGC MAJOR PROJECT titled “Optimization of production parameters, extraction and characterization of a medicinally important drug violacien by Solid substrarte fermentation” for Rs.12,39,100/-, during 2015-16 for three years under the supervision of Dr.P.Mary Anupama,Principal investigator amd Prof. S. Subba Rao, Mr. D. Guru Mahesh as co investigators.

Consultancy

The department of Chemical Engineering was sanctioned a consultancy work on “Anti Corrosive paints” for Rs.30,000/- by M/S Anantha Coatings , Hyderabad, to Dr. M. Shiva Naresh during 2014-15.
